Grades 6 - 9

Combine local adventures with exciting field trips for a great summer with your YMCA!

Have fun kayaking in Lake Washington, riding rollercoasters in Wild Waves, or hiking to the top of Mt. Si.

Each week offers a special flavor of challenging activities that build leadership and team work skills.

Trained YMCA staff lead teens as they explore locally and enjoy trips throughout the Northwest.

 Rocks & Ropes             
Challenge yourself by spending time at local climbing walls, learning about gear, technique and the importance of teamwork.

 Water Wipeout            
Water adventures and challenges every day! Campers will explore natural and man-made water creations as well as challenge themselves in new ways.

Together we'll explore Seattle's best attractions like a tourist in our own hometown!

 Get Ready to H2Woah!

Kayak, swim and explore lakes, rivers and beaches in the Puget Sound area. Be ready to get wet and wild!

 Dip, Duck, Dodge
A week filled with sports challenges and games that will keep you active and working with other campers to bring home the win.

 Learn It, Make It
From pottery to song, food to dance, bring your creativity and enjoy a hands-on week of learning new skills and creating together.

 Making Waves

Explore local waters and water sports throughout the week while building your swimming skills.

 The Search for Sasquatch            
Explore local trails and forest in the ultimate quest to discover if Sasquatch really exists.

 Dog Days of Summer            
As the summer winds down and the beginning of the school year gets closer, spend one more week at the YMCA enjoying your favorite summertime activities.

 Your Choice You and your fellow campers get to plan the week. Working together you will plan the adventures and outings the camp will do each day.

Junior Lifeguarding Camps
Grades 7-10
Weekly fees: $255FM - $290CP (Week of July 5 - 8: $205FM - $235CP)
If you love to swim and care about the safety of others, we invite you to train to be a Junior Lifeguard/ Swim Instructor! This program grades combines education with recreation. Participants will learn about water safety, swim instruction, lifeguard skills, and leadership on the pool deck while building self-confidence. Pre-requisite: Program participants must be patient, calm and safety-focused. Please plan on demonstrating the following water skills the first class: Tread water for 2 minutes, swim 200 yards of varying strokes and perform a dive to a 10 foot depth.
