Grades K - 6

Create, learn, and play throughout the summer at YMCA Discovery Camp!

Trained Y staff create hands-on, structured enrichment activities in art, science, storytelling, and outdoor play. Each week's theme is woven into the day's games, field trips, and fun. Your camper will make new friends and develop skills in a small group setting.

The Y makes summer schedules easier for families with convenient program locations throughout local neighborhoods.

Got a yearning for lunar learning? Blast off into this activity filled session learning about the planets, stars and moonn as you let your imagination soar.

Catch the Spirit

Compete in camp-wide games and challenges while building team spirit amonng your fellow campers.

Come join your friends as we enjoy new celebrations each day.  From birthdays to 4th of July, learn and celebrate what is around you.

Make a splash during this wet and wild week with water bucket relays, water balloons, water tag and tons of squishy games!

July 17 - 21    Fantasy Fun!

Step in to a fantasy world as you and fellow campers create creatures and places you can only imagine.

July 24 - 28    Food Fusion

Put your cooking skills to the test as we try new foods and create our own recipes.  Get ready for a tasty exploration!

July 31 - Aug. 4    Getting Places

By plane, boat, train or car, learn about the machines that help us get from here to there and everywhere!

Aug. 7 - 11 Jungle Sarari

Monkeys, lions and cheetahs!  Come on safari with us and learn about different habitats and experience the vast smorgasbord of plant and animal life in jungles around the world.

Aug. 14 - 18    Ooey Gooey 

Jump into a week filled with hands on activities.  The messier, the more fun - an ooey gooey adventure for you to explore!

Aug. 21 - 25    Under the Sea

Dive into discovery!  Explore water, sea creatures and sand through crafts, games, science activities and more!
