Grades 4 - 7

Options is the name of the game at Camp Terry. For every kid, there is an activity: try archery, rock climbing and even cooking. These awesome programs introduce kids to new and favorite activities that may just become their life passions.

All Camp Terry Plus weeks take place at YMCA Camp Terry located in Preston, WA.

Weekly Fee: 
$265 FM / $310 CM (Wrap Around Camp an additional $50 FM / $65 CM per week)

Week of July 2-6: $210 FM / $240 CM (Closed July 4)
Outdoor Survival Camp week of July 9 - 20 & August 6 - 17: $545 FM / $635 CM

Dates Theme Description
June 25-29 Nature's ArtistsDiscover the art in nature! Campers will create amazing pieces of art out of natural elements found at camp. Each day participants will create 1-2 amazing pieces of art to take home.

Old School AdventuresChallenge yourself to try something new and (possibly) dangerous! Staff will safely lead participants through a variety of activities including whittling, rope swings, fort building, and much more.

July 2-6
(Closed July 4)
All About Archery Build your archery skills! Learn how to string a bow, improve your aim, and much more in this week filled with archery fun! Campers will participate in archery a minimum of 6 hours this week as well as learn more about other archery aspects.

Hot Off the GrillDo you like campfire cooking? Join us for an intensive week of cooking in the great outdoors. Campers will learn about campfire, camp stove, and charcoal cooking as well as safety considerations. There will be a minimum of 2 cooking projects per day.

July 9-13
Rocks and RopesChallenge yourself by spending time at local climbing walls, learning about gear, technique and the importance of teamwork.

Science, Streams and SalmonDo you love the river? Situated on the Raging River, Camp Terry has an amazing river ecology and this week is all about learning about our local rivers. Activities will include learning about the water cycle, water testing, dissecting salmon, and much more!

July 9-20
Outdoor Survival Camp Do you know how to survive in the wild? Campers will learn Outdoor Living Skills such as shelter building, knots, the 10 Essentials, knife safety, and much more.
***2 week camp with a one night overnight***

Camp Terry Plus

Wrap Around Camp provides supervised activities and structured programs before and after camp hours. Wrap Around Care can be purchased for an additional fee.
