Grades 1 - 6

Are you game? YMCA Sports Camps blend skill development, fun activities, and great games for all-day fun. With camps ranging from soccer to lacrosse and basketball to tennis, campers will focus on technique, strategy, and individual and team development.

Trained Y coaches create an inclusive atmosphere that promotes sportsmanship, healthy activity, friendship, and fun.

June 25 - 29 Flag Football with Run to Win Punt, pass, catch! Get ready to develop and practice skills for flag football with other teammates. The camp week will consist of drills, technical skill practice as well as scrimmages. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, cooperative play and a love of recreational sports.
June 25 - 29 Volleyball with Run to Win Bump, set, spike! Get ready to develop and practice skills for volleyball with other teammates. The camp week will consist of drills, technical skill practice as well as scrimmages. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, cooperative play and a love of recreational sports.
July 2 - 6
(Closed Jul. 4) 
Dodgeball with YMCA Run, Jump, Duck, and Dodge! This camp will explore dozens of dodgeball variations like pop-up, medic dodgeball, pin down, GAGA, and much much more! We will be using our soft gator skin balls in our indoor and outdoor spaces. Teamwork and skill building will be a focus, all ages and skill levels welcome!
July 9 - 13  Soccer with Run to Win Pass, shoot, goal! Get ready to develop and practice skills for soccer with other teammates. The camp week will consist of drills, technical skill practice as well as scrimmages. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, cooperative play and a love of recreational sports.
July 16 - 20  Baseball with Run to Win Pitch, hit, field! Get ready to develop and practice skills for baseball with other teammates. The camp week will consist of drills, technical skill practice as well as scrimmages. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, cooperative play and a love of recreational sports.
July 16 - 20    Track & Field with Run to Win On Your Mark! Get ready to develop and practice skills for track & field with other teammates. The camp week will consist of drills, technical skill practice as well as individual competitions. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, cooperative play and a love of recreational sports.
Juy 23 - 27 Basketball with Run to Win Dribble, rebound, score! Get ready to develop and practice skills for basketball with other teammates. The camp week will consist of drills, technical skill practice as well as scrimmages. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, cooperative play and a love of recreational sports.

August 6 - 10  Ultimate Frisbee with Run to Win Layout, hammer, defend! Get ready to develop and practice skills for ultimate Frisbee with other teammates. The camp week will consist of drills, technical skill practice as well as scrimmages. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, cooperative play and a love of recreational sports.
August 13 - 17
Soccer with Run to Win
Pass, shoot, goal! Get ready to develop and practice skills for soccer with other teammates. The camp week will consist of drills, technical skill practice as well as scrimmages. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, cooperative play and a love of recreational sports.
August 20 - 24
Lacrosse with Run to Win
Catch, Cradle, Attack! The camp week will consist of drills, technical skill practice as well as preparing a cheer performance. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, cooperative play and a love of recreational sports.
August 27 - 31

Tennis with Tennis Center Sandpoint

(Grade 1st-3rd FULL)

Service, net, rally! Get ready to develop and practice skills for tennis with other teammates. The camp week will consist of drills, technical skill practice as well as matches. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, cooperative play and a love of recreational sports.
