Outdoor Day Camp

Outdoor Day Camp

Grades 1 - 4

YMCA Outdoor Day Camp is what summer should be: the fun and freedom of the outdoors while learning new skills and making great friends!

Each week is filled with new activities to explore! Campers learn to respect and appreciate nature through fun adventures. Our days are jam-packed with activities that develop outdoor living skills and a comfort in exploring nature in the Pacific Northwest.

Camper weeks are rotations of skill development and exploration activities such as:
• Hiking and nature walks
• Swimming
• Nature crafts
• Archery
• Knot tying and compass navigation
• Group games and teamwork
• Outdoor living skills and camp cooking
• Environmental and ecosystem impacts

Skilled Y camp staff provide challenging, safe activities for each small group.

The Y makes Outdoor Day Camp easy for families with convenient drop off and pickup locations throughout local neighborhoods.
